Anyone who watched the Clemson - Florida game today has to wonder. 15 minute delay to eject a player that was innocent as hell...and then eject a player for slamming his bat to the ground after an extra inning HR (just a little excitement)...then ejecting coach and assistant coach for letting umps know how stupid the game was called. Ridiculous control over the game from some NCAA idiots that weren't even at the game. And I don't even have a dog in the fight...(but I do believe SEC conspiracy theories).
the player that hit the HR was not ejected, fyi. The Assistant Coach was ejected for leaving the dugout, he can't do that per the rules, only the Head Coach can do certain things. Then, not sure why, the Head Coach decided to have at it as well. He could have stopped prior to his ejection and still made his point in my mind.
My question is whether his additional suspension carries over to next year?
I wasn't in a place where I could listen to the explanation of the initial Cags fracas early in the game. I honestly expected them to eject a lot more players given the rules. Would have been really crazy had they followed the rules to a "T" in that scenario.
