Finally a northern team and it's my Huskers. 😎
I don't consider Oregon State a northern squad as they play in a temperate environment. We've yet to have a game above 50 here. haha
What to make of OU? They sweep UCF and TCU then lose 2 straight home weekends to WVA and Lamar. Jekyll and Hyde team for sure.
Even though the Canes are young and inconsistent they still have 7 wins against top 25 teams and sos is 6. Do they search in as an at large?
Will the Florida Gators be this season's first sub-.500 team ranked in the top 5? Let's hope so!
Florida baffles me. I have no idea if they deserve where they are ranked or not. Winning weekends is what rally matters, but all those losses mean something is up, likely pitching depth. A lack of pitching depth is what gets you beat in a regional format, See Hogs circa 2023.
At this point are you taking the DSR info into your ranking decisions?
No they DON'T
No one cares about your personal quibble about the poll mechanics
@jwoods2551 Not depth issue.. It's a experience issue.. Sully will improve that weekly
Dawgs run ruled TN for the first time ever. Swept the series vs a ranked Bama and we still get nothing. SMDH
@roland-madsen Great question. We are not. Hell, I didn't even look at DSR's update until just now.
You wanted Georgia to go from unranked to ranked following a series it A) lost and B) got shutout in the series finale to lose the series? They are improved, but c'mon my friend.
I'm no Kentucky fan, but curious as to why there isn't much chatter about Kentucky. They are 8-1 in conference play. This Vol Baseball fan is wondering if Kentucky is a sleeping giant this year? Or is it just cuz they haven't played the toughest teams yet to date? Also noted, Mitchell Daly seems much improved since leaving Texas for Kentucky. Thoughts?
