How did MSU manage to jump 7-8 teams that had winning weeks?
You guys have OU ranked, and going 2-1 on the week. They went 2-2 and lost the series to Texas at home. Their record is 26-16 as well. Did we just not update it fellas?
Also, what does DBU have to do to be ranked? They're the only 31 win team that isn't.
Definitely thought the Mountaineers deserved to get back into the top 25 this week after sweeping Baylor this weekend. They’re only a game back of OU in the Big 12 and took the series from them a few weeks back.
Shocked DBU is not in the rankings but Utah is, especially after a road sweep of FIU.
- Better record, better RPI, WAY better record against Quad 1 teams, better SOS.
Make it make sense?

Kendall usually inflates SEC team rankings. When they lose, they are so highly ranked that they stay in the top 25. When another SEC team beats them, that team automatically shoots up in the polls.
it doesn’t work if a non-SEC team beats the SEC team though. FSU got no credit for beating Kendall’s inflated #6 UF team.

DBU had zero business being ranked so quick. THREE-straight series losses, one of those series loss to a bad Air Force team. DBU is a very solid club, but needs to earn its way back in. Can get a big boost this weekend.

1) FSU is No. 6 in the country. 2) FSU got very little credit at the time because it's non-conference schedule at the time was terrible and those games against UF were in the midweek. Notice how when FSU started looking great against better competition, they skyrocketed up the rankings. 3) I'm one of four people who do our rankings, so it's not my personal ranking.
Funny how you have to wait until FSU played better competition before moving them up. UK had yet to win a weekend series against a conference opponent with a winning record and shot up to #3 after beating a horrible Auburn team. Now UK faces conference teams with winning records and they fall.
How did Georgia move UP in the rankings? They cheated and still lost the weekend series.
Don’t tell me you’re giving them credit for the midweek win against Clemson. Kendall you said midweek games don’t count as much.
So why does Georgia move UP?
*crickets*
By the time UK beat Auburn they had also swept USC-Upstatev on the road and had also swept Georgia, Ole Miss and Bama. The Auburn sweep moved them to 14-1 IN THE SEC. Not in the Big 12 or PAC, but the SEC.Funny how you have to wait until FSU played better competition before moving them up. Florida State is a really good and dynamic team but how many series wins does FSU have over tournament teams? One maybe? They owned Florida but at this point that's not a likely tourney team either and they were all mid-week matchups between backup pitchers.
The Top 25 is fluid. I'll never understand why people get so pissy about a fake ranking. It has no impact on tournament seeding or regional matchups.

TCU looking for Sunday sweep is now firmly in middle of Big 12 standings. They currently lead Texas Tech and should clearly gain a regional tournament spot with their high RPI.
